It's been a particularly hectic year for Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Earlier in the year, he announced his split conscious uncoupling with Gwyneth Paltrow. This led to Coldplay's more somber album, Ghost Stories. Martin has now announced Coldplay's seventh album, tentatively titled A Head Full of Dreams, which is due out next year. The Grammy winner also hinted that this may be Coldplay's last album. While speaking to BBC1, he added:

It’s our seventh thing, and the way we look at it, it’s like the last Harry Potter book or something like that. [..] Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something … Now we are making things that sound different. It’s just a very fun time to be in our band.

It's hard to imagine Coldplay calling it quits. While seven albums is more than many bands, the group had not lost their steam. They're up for a pair of Grammys once again in 2015.
