Osheaga's Top 13 Acts of 2013
Evenko has revealed their 2013 lineup of the three-day music festival, spanning from August 2-5. Hope you got your tickets—this year promises to be bigger than ever, and has even sold out for the Sunday show, and the 3-day tix. Without further ado, here are the top 10 musical acts to watch out for at Osheaga 2013.
Tegan and Sara
Indie rock performed by twins?! You read that correctly. This duo continues to impress, with their sold out shows, great interview responses, and fantastic crowd interaction. We hope to hear elements of their Closer remix album.
“Heartthrob”
Grouplove
This lineup is what dreams are made of. This is the only reason why Grouplove comes in at #9. While this band has only been in existence since 2009, they’re gaining traction, and fast. You won’t want to miss this performance.
“Tongue Tied”
Kendrick Lamar
Before he’d even been signed to a major label, this rapper had worked with the likes of Dr. Dre, Drake, Young Jeezy, and Lil Wayne, to name a few. His major label debut, good kid, m.A.A.d city, has received critical acclaim. Need I say more?
“Poetic Justice”
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
Their debut studio album, The Heist, reached #1 on iTunes within hours of its release last year, without mainstream promotion.
“Wing$”
Vampire Weekend
Their sophomore album, Modern Vampires of the City, reached #1 on the Billboard charts. In January 2012, President Barack Obama added Vampire Weekend to a short list of musical artists that he sought support from for his re-election campaign, making it onto this list with Jay-Z, John Legend, and Alicia Keys.

Imagine Dragons
Phoenix
The Lumineers

Frank Ocean
