Here's something you don't see everyday. Le Journal De Quebec reports that Budweiser and Metallica have joined forces and the band is getting its own limited edition brew. There is a catch however, the beer will be produced only in Canada, more specifically, only in the province of Quebec and will be brewed by Labatt. Labatt has been brewing Budweiser for years in Canada so that latter part shouldn't be too much of a shock.

The beer's release coincides with Metallica sunsetting the Colisée Pepsi venue on September 14 2015 and then again performing the opener for the brand new Centre Vidéotron on the 16th. From there, a tanker truck will mosey on down in Lasalle, Montreal where it will produce almost 100,000 can of the band's branded brew. You'll be able to get the beer in cases of both 15 and 24.

No word on the taste yet but we'll let you know as soon as we get our hands on a cold one.
