Halestorm, the GRAMMY-winning hard rock band led by siblings Lzzy and Arejay Hale, has announced their sixth studio album, Everest, due out August 8 via Atlantic Records. Produced by fellow GRAMMY-winner Dave Cobb, the album promises a deeply personal and sonically adventurous journey, reflecting the band’s trials and triumphs over the past two decades. The lead single, “Darkness Always Wins,” offers a powerful first taste—blending brooding melodies, blistering guitar solos, and haunting lyricism that Rolling Stone and Revolver have already praised as classic Halestorm.

Alongside the album announcement, the band unveiled plans for the nEVEREST U.S. / Canadian fall tour, featuring a genre-defying lineup with violin-rock sensation Lindsey Stirling and symphonic metal icons Apocalyptica. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 2 at 10 AM local time. Following major dates with Iron Maiden, Volbeat, and a special performance at Black Sabbath’s final show in Birmingham, the nEVEREST tour marks a triumphant new chapter for Halestorm. As Lzzy Hale puts it, Everest is “a rollercoaster of epic musical detours” and “an auditory representation of the four pillars of Halestorm.”
