Shocking lyrical material has always been Eminem's calling card, but he's just raised the stakes with his video for Space Bound, aligning the visual with his dark subject matter. This is the fourth single from Recovery, produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Jim Jonsin, the video directed by Joseph Khan (past work includes the film Torque, and Eminem's Without Me). The storyline revolves around the main character, Eminem, who finds out that his girl, played by ex-porn star turned mainstream actress Sasha Grey, has been cheating on him. Throughout the song, he pleads with her to not hurt him in the end:

"Promise me if I cave in and break and leave myself open
That I won't be making a mistake
I'm a space bound rocket ship and your heart's the moon
And I'm aiming right at you"

When he takes a look at her phone and realizes that she has been cheating on him, he kills himself, saying:

"And before I put that gun to my temple
I told you this
And I would've done anything for you
To show you how much I adored you
But it's over now
It's too late to save our love"

The video is well directed, having the feel of a short film rather than just a music video. Can't wait to see what he does next. See the video for yourself.
